Servite Scholar-Athlete of the Week (4/27/20)

Ryann Stock
Senior
Baseball
GPA: 3.8

What is your favorite subject? Why? It’s difficult to dwindle one subject down to my favorite, but I have recently taken a great interest in science. Learning about the ways the world around us works creates interest within me which makes me want to learn more about the world.

What teacher has most impacted you here at Servite? Why? One teacher in particular that impacted me during the past four years at Servite would be Mr. M. Luckily I was fortunate to have him during his last year at Servite and he really kept me in check scholastically and always made sure that I got the most out of the Servite experience and was ready for college.

Advice for freshmen on how to balance the academic and athletic rigors at Servite: Balancing academics and athletics can prove to have many difficulties. A piece of advice I would give to any student struggling to maintain both would be creating and keeping up with a schedule that works out for you and that allows you to stay on track of your studies.

What else are you involved in at Servite? At Servite, I was thankful to join the admissions team as a senior this year. When I first entered the school becoming an ambassador was something I never thought of doing but was very fortunate to join the team this year. I am also involved in the Red Cross Club, Spanish Club, and worked the kitchen every day.

Career interest- A career that I would like to pursue would be Biomedical Engineering. I think creating technology to help out those who through some circumstance have health issues that may hinder them in any way would be an amazing thing to do.

Classes you’re currently taking- CP Pre-Calculus, CP Physics, AP English Lit, AP Macroeconomics, CP Critical Reflections, CP Anatomy/Physiology
