What is your favorite subject? Why? So far this year, AP Physics has been my favorite subject. Mr. Hunt does a great job using labs to demonstrate concepts that can be hard to understand using equations and numbers alone.
What teacher has most impacted you here at Servite? Why? Dr. Eng has been my math teacher since freshman year. I’ve taken Algebra 2, Pre-Calc, and two years of Calculus with her. Her classes consistently been my toughest of each year. They have challenged my study habits and my work ethic. I’ve learned a lot from her and it will feel odd not sitting in one of her classes next year.
Advice for freshmen on how to balance the academic and athletic rigors at Servite: High school courses, especially at Servite, are a step up in difficulty from most middle school classes. Take the time to talk to your teachers about material you need help understanding. Talking to classmates or students who have already taken a course are also great ways to stay on track. There are plenty of people on campus willing to help if you are willing to ask.
What else are you involved in at Servite? I’m a member of both CSF and JSA. I’m the president of the Chemistry Club and the Hugh Prior.
Career interest- Astronautical Engineering; Who doesn’t want to launch stuff into space?
