Servite Scholar-Athlete of the Week (12/17/18)
Robert Holliday ’19
Senior
Basketball
GPA: 4.43
Favorite School Subject: My favorite subject is English because I enjoy writing. My teacher Mr. Powers does an excellent job at making the subject interesting and enjoyable to learn.
How do you balance the academic and athletic rigors here at Servite? I balance my academics and athletics by making sure when I get home I am doing my homework right away and if I am struggling in something I make sure to see my teachers during break since I have practice after school.
What is your go-to study tip for an upcoming exam? My go-to study tip is making a Quizlet about the material because it allows me to study on the go and be interactive with the material.
What else are you involved in at Servite? I am the treasurer of both SIGN club and the Red Cross Club.
What’s your biggest motivation that keeps you striving to be the best student-athlete you can be? I strive to be the best student-athlete I can be because I know the sacrifices my parents have made for me along with many other people so at the end of the day I strive to be the best I can be.
