Today on campus one of our staff members was pushing a cart with envelopes and papers to a storage facility behind the classrooms and as she turned a corner the entire cart tipped and all the papers and envelopes fell on the ground. As the staff member was picking up the mess she noticed an additional set of hands bending over with her and heard “Let me help you Ma’am”. As she and the student picked up the papers, he asked if he could help her push the cart to its destination and she was extremely surprised at his follow through. As they placed all the documents into the storage area, he asked “Ma’am, Can I trust that you’ll make it back to your office alright”….The staff member said, “Thank you, it was really kind of you to stop what you were doing and help me, I can’t thank you enough.” The student, Spencer Fovell said, “Not a problem ma’am, any Servite Friar would have done that.”
We are so thankful to have young men like Spencer here at Servite learning what it means to be a Friar. CREDO
