Servite pitcher Cole Irvin of Yorba Linda and Mater Dei catcher Jeremy Martinez were among the players selected to the USA Baseball 18U national roster, it was announced Sept. 18.
The team will travel to Cartegena, Colombia to compete in the COPABE AAA/18U Junior Pan American Championships, Nov. 17-27. The team will train in Miami, Nov. 9-15 before departing.
Scott Brosius, who played for the Yankees and Oakland, is the manager.
