Servite Golf is now back-to-back CIF Champions! The Friars posted a team score of 358 to defeat Walnut (363), JSerra (366) & Mater Dei (378) today to win their 2nd consecutive CIF Team title and their 3rd in the last four years! Senior Jack Rahon led the Friars shooting 69 (-3) at Mountain Meadows Golf Course while sophomores Alex Hanz and Cameron Xiao also came in under par at 71 (-1).
For Rahon and Kyle Kinnane, the win caps an impressive championship run for the dynamic senior duo who have won four Trinity League titles, 3 CIF Championships and 1 CIF Runner-Up title during their Servite careers while fellow senior Chad Deegan, who spent his sophomore and junior seasons in Atlanta, adds his second league and CIF title to his resumé.
Rahon, Kinnane, Deegan and the Friars aren’t done yet as Servite now advances to Thursday’s SCGA So Cal Championship team qualifier in Santa Barbara.
