What is your favorite subject? Why? My favorite subject is Critical Reflections with Mr. Martin. During class, I get to strengthen my faith alongside my brothers. Additionally, Mr. Martin is an energetic and faith-filled teacher, and he inspires me to be a better person every day.

What teacher has most impacted you here at Servite? Why? The most impactful teacher that I’ve had is Mr. Powers who taught me sophomore English and AP Lit. By having him for two years, I was able to not only grow as a writer but also strengthen my personal bond with him. He is a source of unlimited knowledge in English, and he also shares wise adages that he learned from experience.

Advice for freshmen on how to balance the academic and athletic rigors at Servite: Get comfortable with being uncomfortable. As student-athletes, there’s going to be days where it seems like there’s a million things to get done, including practice and studying, but you just have to grit your teeth and get it done. Embrace the tough moments like these, because they make the victories much better.

What else are you involved in at Servite? I am the Secretary General for the Priory Leadership Program, and I am a captain on the Track and Field Team. Additionally, I am a part of the California Scholarship Federation and Her Servants’ Closet.

Career Interest- I would like to first earn an Environmental Science undergraduate degree then I want to attend law school in order to pursue my dream of becoming an environmental lawyer. I would like to help companies adapt to changing and new environmental policies, and I want to participate in litigation against companies that refuse to conform to environmental regulations.

Classes you’re currently taking- HP Critical Reflections, AP Chinese, AP Psychology, AP English Literature, AP Environmental Science, AP US Government
