GPA: 4.4

What is your favorite subject? Why? I enjoy science-based classes like Chemistry, Environmental Science, Biology, and Physics. These main ideas exist at every moment in our life without being recognized. I appreciate the complex networks of math, physics, and chemical synthesis because they are the key to our existence.

What teacher has most impacted you here at Servite? Why? Dr. Eng has impacted me the most. She taught me that things in life aren’t necessarily learned through books but rather through experience. I experienced a fun atmosphere during my two years with her. Combining your interest with what you take away from a class forms you into a scholar of Servite.

Advice for freshmen on how to balance the academic and athletic rigors at Servite:  Most importantly, classes need to be fun for you. If you dislike a class, you clearly are going to have trouble making it through. Secondly, pay attention when in class. Focusing on a lecture, taking notes, and completing classwork ultimately helps you deepen your understanding of the coursework. You can learn a lot from simply being part of a class.

What else are you involved in at Servite?  I currently take part in the Ice Hockey Club. There, I learn the kind of person I am and how I can make a difference within our team. This ideology led us to a championship this year! The California Scholarship Federation (CSF) is another club that helps other students who are in an academic struggle. Here, you learn more about your strengths, and who you are as a person.

Classes you’re currently taking- CP Classical Guitar, AP Physics, HP Critical Reflections, AP English Literature, AP Environmental Science, AP US Government
