JV Golf won the 2nd Annual Chris Roth Memorial Tournament yesterday posting a team score of 385 to beat out Loyola (390) and San Clemente (415). Freshman William Sung led the Friars posting a 71 (-1) to win the tournament after defeating two other golfers in a two-hole playoff.
The Chris Roth Memorial Tournament was created in 2017 in honor of Chris Roth ’09 who tragically passed in February of 2016. Chris was a 4-year member of the Servite Golf team, a 1st Team All-Trinity League selection his senior season and a vital part of the 2009 Trinity League and CIF Championship team. Servite won the tournament in it’s inaugural year as well led by Tournament Champion, Quinn Ganahl ’19.
