Senior Justin Nodarse has committed to play soccer at Concordia University, Irvine! The Friars’ midfielder shared, “I chose Concordia for its family-oriented environment combined with the favorable teacher-to-student ratio. Additionally, the campus is very beautiful and calming.”

He went on to share, “What attracted me most to the soccer program was head coach Chris Gould and how welcoming he is. He has a lot of experience and I believe he will help me become the best student-athlete I can be. I also really enjoyed meeting and playing with my future teammates. I felt a sense of brotherhood and unity on the team.”

A four-year member of the program and two-year varsity letterman, Nodarse has been a member of the last four Trinity League Championship teams as well as the 2020 CIF-SS Division 1 CIF-SS Championship squad!

First year Head Coach Eddie Soto shared, “I’m very excited to see Justin get the opportunity to continue playing soccer at Concordia. His attitude and mental toughness will benefit him as he competes with one of the best teams in the Pac-West conference. Justin knows his strengths and weaknesses and is eager to hit the ground running come August.

Good luck Justin!”

Nodarse, who plans to study business management at Concordia, is involved in a variety of activities at Servite in addition to soccer including Key Club, Investment Club, HSK and Peer Court. He has also volunteered with the organizations RAD Camp, Mary’s Kitchen and the Ronald McDonald House.

Nodarse is one of four soccer seniors who have announced their commitment to play soccer collegiately and will join fellow Friar Brett Lux ’19 in playing for the Eagles.

In closing Nodarse shared, “Thank you so much to my family for supporting me and making it possible for me to attend Servite. Thank you to all my coaches that helped me along and the way. Lastly, I want to thank Servite High School, Mrs. Anspach, and all my teachers for helping me grow as a young man.”
