In game two, the Wolves’ bats caught fire early posting six runs in the first three innings to take a 6-1 advantage over the Friars. Servite got one back in the 4th off an RBI single from Matthew Strother, his first of two in the game, before staging their comeback in the 5th plating six runs to take the lead 8-6. The Friars offense erupted again in the 7th as they tacked on six more runs. MLK answered scoring four runs in the bottom half of the inning but Servite worked out of the jam to clinch the victory.
