Following the 2018 water polo season, Coach Andy Coffman was named Water Polo Coach of the Year by the California Coaches Association! Coach Coffman was recognized with this esteemed honor during a banquet held in Fresno on June 15th.
Coach Coffman led the Friars to the CIF-SS Division 3 Championship in fall defeating Los Osos 13-11 in the final. The title was the first for Servite since 2005 but it was the second year in a row that Servite Water Polo reached at least the CIF-SS Semifinals. Following the Friars championship run, Coach Coffman was also selected CIF Coach of the Year.
Overall, the water polo team finished with a 23-10 record this season, the most wins since Coach Coffman took over the program in 2015 and the second straight 20-win season for the Friars.
