TJ McMahon ’18 Commits to Play Football at Rice University

TJ McMahon ’18 has committed to play football at Rice University.

The former Friars quarterback most recently played at Cerritos College where he led the Falcons to a 7-4 season throwing for 2,667 yards and 24 touchdowns while completing 65.8% of his passes.

Following the season McMahon earned 2nd Team All-Conference records and added his name to the Cerritos record books finishing with second most passing yards in a season in school history while setting a new single-season school record in completion percentage! McMahon also earned Southern California Football Association National Division Player of the Week honors earlier this season after throwing for 244 yards and 4 touchdowns against Moorpark.

While at Servite, McMahon was a 3-year varsity letterman and a member of the Curia his senior season. He also earned 1st Team All-Trinity League recognition after tallying 2,914 yards of total offense and 33 touchdowns.
