Servite dominated the Orange County Triathlon Sunday competing in the Men’s Relay Division Olympic distance race which includes a 1500m swim, a 40k bike ride and 10k run around Lake Mission Viejo.
Matthew Kuehl ’19 started it off with an incredible swim then gave way to Adam Harita ’90 who handled the bike ride posting the fastest split of the day. Mauro Rosales ’18 took over from there posting the top 10K time to lead Servite to a 1st place finish coming in at 2:03:25!
Kuehl plays water polo and swims for the Friars while Mauro Rosales ’18 was a member of Servite’s cross country and track & field teams. Harita played football during his time at Servite and is currently the Triathlon coach for Rosary Academy.
Competing at the same event, Rosary also won the Female Relay Division. Congratulations Friars and Royals!
