What is your favorite subject? Why? My favorite subject is math. Though, this year I would say statistics is my favorite class. I like math related classes because every problem has a formula and multiple ways of finding the answer. It’s like putting together a puzzle.
What teacher has most impacted you here at Servite? Why? The teacher that has impacted me most would be Mr. Hunt. I had him as a teacher for two years in physics and statistics. He is a teacher who balances both keeping the classroom professional and at the same time making it enjoyable. He goes above and beyond helping his students by making sure we understand material by offering before and after school help and posting in class notes and lecture videos if a student is absent for the day. At the same time, he instills the Formation Themes in and outside the classroom.
Advice for freshmen on how to balance the academic and athletic rigors at Servite: Manage your time well. Make sure to complete homework as soon as possible and study for exams days prior. Don’t be afraid to ask teachers for help.
What else are you involved in at Servite? I am the President of the Servite Red Cross Club, a CSF Tutor, a NHS member, a student store manager, a Servite Medical Devices Club Member, an admissions ambassador, and a PAL member.
Career Interest- I am interested in the field of medicine, preferably an orthopedist or a physiatrist.
