What is your favorite subject? Why? My favorite subject is science specifically anatomy/physiology. This class has taught me critical thinking skills that I will continue to use in my future endeavors. The class has made me interested in going into the medical field because it has taught me how the body works and functions. Whether you are an athlete or not, keeping your body healthy is essential to life.
What teacher has most impacted you here at Servite? Why? The teachers that have impacted me the most at Servite have been Mr. Fajardo and Mrs. Ochoa. These teachers have impacted me in a way that I have learned how to tell the difference between objective and subjective truth. They are always there for assistance and they are more than just a teacher, they are my mentors.
Advice for freshmen on how to balance the academic and athletic rigors at Servite: It’s important to have good time management and keep your priorities straight. Having good communication with teachers and coaches is essential for you to have continued success inside or outside the classroom.
What else are you involved in at Servite? I am involved in the Servite Red Cross Club and serve as Co-President. I am also involved with the National Honors Society, Key Club, California Scholarship Federation, and Consecration to Mary.
