Jack Davis was a two-time national handball champion at the University of Texas before he entered the teaching profession. In 1975, he began teaching math and drivers’ education at Servite. He was best remembered as the beloved sophomore football coach who inspired many alumni to further develop their football skills at the collegiate and professional levels. He retired from Servite in 1995 and passed away in 2013. The 1983 Yearbook was dedicated to him. He was considered an example for all to follow. In sports and academics, he served students well.
