Mrs. Montgomery-Roa’s AP and CP Computer Science students will be incorporating Google Android programming into the Spring Semester and we’re looking for any old Android phones or devices that you would like to donate to help the cause!
If you’re contract is expiring or you know anyone with access to old or 1st generation Android phone or device, consider donating them to the Computer Science department. Our ultimate goal is to have a class set of 20-25.
The goal for both the Servite Advanced Placement™ and College Preparatory courses is to provide our students the opportunity to practice programming across several current and engaging technologies. These classes currently use Eclipse to develop Java programs and we are hoping to expand the student’s experience with Android by creating student-developed education programs and software that can help support our very own Servite classes!
