She was teacher, traveler, writer, musician and mentor. Chris Stewart taught history at Servite from 1985 until retiring in 2016. She hoped her students would always have a love for history and learn that it is the little things done well that matter. She cared for the well-being of students and faculty, attending many Kairos retreats and athletic events, serving as Eucharistic Minister and fulfilled a lifelong ambition to be in a Servite play (The Addams Family, 2016). She traveled to Perth, Australia as part of a 1999 exchange program and later journeyed to China with students as well. She belongs to a music group that put out a CD and she wrote and published a book, called: The Adventures of Sprinkler Dog! (2012).
