We began our day by watching a medieval procession into the center of Firenze. Once the large and ancient cart arrived in the center, the cardinal came out and blessed us all with holy water. The chart was rigged with fireworks and we saw a great display. There were thousands of people there.. We wandered to Ponte Vecchio and an open market before we went back to Monte Senario where we celebrated mass with the Servites. The weather was more cooperative today and we were able to see for miles from the top of the mountain.
