Bryce Leos ’21 has committed to play football at Colby College. The Friars lineman shared, “I chose Colby College because it is one of the top schools in the country. What attracted me specifically to the football program was that they have shown me the most love in the recruiting process and I want to go somewhere I am wanted.”
A three-year varsity letterman for the Friars, Leos is among six football players who have announced their college decisions.
Coach Troy Thomas shared, “No one worked harder than Bryce during this unique offseason. I believe your true character is shown in tough times and Bryce showed us all that he will make the most of the opportunities that God puts in front of him. I believe his best football is ahead of him once his strength catches up to that big frame. Colby College is getting a great teammate who will do his job to the best of his ability.”
Leos, who plans to study economics at Colby College, is also involved with the Priory program at Servite serving as an Assistant Prior for the senior class.
In closing Leos said, “I would like to thank everyone that has helped me become a better student-athlete along the way. Thank you to the Servite coaching staff for helping me develop as a football player and to Servite for pushing to be a stronger student. Thank you to my mom and dad for molding me into the young man I am today. They have sacrificed so much so that I can grow as a person and chase my goals. Most importantly, I thank God for all the blessings he has given me. I will continue to trust his plan as I move toward this next part of my life.”
